Cambodia Member Care Retreat (June 1–5, 2026)
Across Asia, many missionaries are faithfully serving in challenging environments — often carrying spiritual, emotional, and relational burdens with very little space to rest or process.
The Cambodia Member Care Retreat (MCR) is designed to change that.
This is not a conference or training. It is a fully intentional space for rest, renewal, and care — where missionaries can slow down, reconnect with God, and be strengthened for the long journey of ministry.
What this retreat provides
Your support helps create a holistic care environment that includes the following for close to 40 missionary units (both individuals and families):
-
Lodging and meals for the entire retreat
-
Airport transportation and local logistics
-
Children and youth programming for families
-
Guided debrief sessions and spiritual care
-
Access to basic counseling and member care support
-
Restorative experiences (massages, wellness activities, coffee tasting, pilates, etc.)
-
Worship, prayer, and unhurried time with God
We also provide honorariums for experienced facilitators and care providers to ensure that those attending receive meaningful, high-quality support.
Why this matters
Many missionaries continue serving while carrying unseen weight — burnout, isolation, stress, and fatigue. Without intentional care, these pressures often lead to discouragement or even leaving the field altogether.
We have seen again and again that when missionaries are given space to truly rest and be cared for:
-
they regain strength
-
marriages are strengthened
-
vision is renewed
-
and long-term sustainability becomes possible
Our commitment
We are committed to making this retreat accessible and free for missionaries (apart from international travel), so that cost is never a barrier to receiving care.
To do this, we are raising $30,000–$35,000 to fully fund the Cambodia retreat.
